Our client is a leading regional integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Asia. It specializes in end-to-end solutions in the tower services sector including co-locations, build-to-suit, energy, transmission and maintenance.
The towers are located all over the country and need to be maintained. Often, the station is in a hard-to-reach or sparsely populated region and it was simply not profitable for the company to keep up a team there. As a result, the telecom operator is hiring external contractors to maintain these towers.
The problem concerned difficulties in monitoring and tracking the activities of such partners in real-time. Therefore, the company needed a tool that would display the route lists of performers with a map and in real-time mode would display the condition. It should be convenient for supervisors to track the status, view the history of the location (tower), assign a new route, or leave a comment for the client.
FreySoft made for the company the layout of two types for the application according to the client’s design. We provided professional help in instructing on the mobile menu, in implementing maps, etc. in order to make the app more convenient for its users.
The product is currently undergoing completion. The outcomes will be measured after the product is deployed to customers.
After analyzing the company’s business and needs, we offered a suitable solution for its project and approved the work plan. Our front-end developers managed such implementation points as links, menu items, API, also maps issues (what type of map to use); reformatted the design to a different one that was suitable for layout, etc.
Every week, the FreySoft project team and the client had a catch-up meeting. We discussed regular tasks, what we have done the previous week and what we are planning to solve in the next days. By such constant communication, the front-end team and the client effectively share professional development, resources, feedback, and results.
